SAME-DAY CROWNS · SCOTTSDALE
one tooth. one visit. done.
Most dentists make you come back twice — a temporary crown, two weeks of waiting, a second appointment. We mill your permanent crown on-site and place it the same day. Walk in broken, walk out fixed.
~2 hrs
start to finish, one visit.
vs. 2–3 weeks the traditional way.
THE DIFFERENCE
the old way vs. ours.
THE TRADITIONAL CROWN
Two separate appointments, weeks apart
Goopy putty impressions
A temporary crown that can pop off
Numbed twice — once each visit
2–3 weeks waiting for the lab
OUR SAME-DAY CROWN
One appointment, about two hours
A quick digital scan — no putty
Your permanent crown, placed same day
Numbed once
Milled on-site while you wait
THE PROCESS · CEREC TECHNOLOGY
how it works.
Four steps. One chair. Powered by CEREC same-day milling.
01
we scan your tooth.
A handheld digital scanner maps your tooth in minutes. No putty, no gagging, no goop. Just a quick wave of the wand.
02
we design your crown.
Your tooth shows up on screen in 3D. We design a crown built for your bite, your color, your mouth — right in front of you.
03
we mill it on-site.
Our CEREC machine carves your crown from a solid block of high-grade ceramic while you relax. Usually 15–20 minutes.
04
we fit and bond it.
We check the fit, adjust if needed, and permanently bond it in place. You leave with a finished tooth — no temporary, no second trip.
WHY NORTH VALLEY
done right.
Same-day doesn't mean shortcuts. We use premium ceramic that matches the strength and color of a natural tooth — the same material a lab would use, without the two-week wait. Our Scottsdale office is equipped with the latest CEREC milling technology.
Everything happens in this building, by the same dentist who scanned you. No outside lab, no handoffs, no surprises in the final fit.

the questions.
are same-day crowns as strong as lab crowns?
+Yes. We use the same high-grade ceramic blocks a dental lab uses. The difference is speed, not quality — the milling happens here instead of being shipped out.
how long do they last?
+With normal care, 10–15 years or more — same as a traditional crown. Brush, floss, don't use your teeth as tools, and it'll go the distance.
does it hurt?
+No more than a filling. We numb the area once at the start. Most patients read or watch something while the crown mills.
how long does the appointment really take?
+About two hours start to finish. Most of that is design and milling — the actual dental work is quick.
does insurance cover same-day crowns?
+Most PPO plans treat them like any crown — typically 50% covered after your deductible. We verify your exact benefit before starting.
what's it made of?
+A solid block of dental-grade ceramic, color-matched to your natural teeth. No metal, no dark line at the gum — just a tooth that looks like a tooth.
